Board-certified family medicine physician, Rabia Khan, MD, brings more than eight years of experience in family medicine and urgent care to Starling Clinic, with offices in Plano and Texarkana, Texas.
Dr. Khan began her professional pursuits at Hudson Community College in Jersey City, New Jersey. Two years later, she enrolled at Rutgers State University of New Jersey in Newark where she earned her Bachelor of Arts.
The following year, Dr. Khan decided to pursue a career in medicine. She moved to the West Indies and enrolled at the American University of Antigua College of Medicine located in Antigua and Barbuda. Dr. Khan excelled in the program and graduated cum laude, obtaining her Doctor of Medicine.
Before entering private practice, Dr. Khan returned to the United States and completed a family medicine residency at Central Michigan University College of Medicine in Saginaw. Afterward, Dr. Khan moved to Texas and served in various capacities, both in primary care and urgent care settings.
Dr. Khan proudly holds membership in the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Association of Family Physicians. She’s DOT certified, BioTe® certified, and a certified Epic® Trainer.
